What shapes behavior is comparison.
What exits is self-surveillance.
People learn early to audit their lives against scripts they did not author.
Milestones become surveillance points: proof you are keeping pace.
But time accumulates information.
You watch cycles repeat.
You recognize urgency as choreography.
You see scarcity staged again and again.
This reduces extractability.
So equilibrium is reframed as erosion.
Comprehension becomes “irrelevance.”
Stability becomes “falling behind.”
Age is not decline.
